Once a simple farmhouse built in 1771, Church Street Inn has stood proud while the village of Lenox flourished around it. But the inn grew as well, to accommodate the many travelers passing through, most notably when Graham Root added two barns. We continue this tradition of hospitality as we welcome our guests to the very heart of the Berkshires.
Nestled among the old growth trees, our boutique hotel experience is tailored to the modern traveler, yet the history of our building is felt throughout. Original touches like fireplaces, clawfoot tubs, and unique room layouts, recall the centuries our inn has called this part of Church Street home.
Whether you’re looking for a quick stroll or curious to explore further out, there’s ample things to do in historical Lenox and the Berkshires beyond. Lose yourself in nature, spark inspiration with the arts, or kindle your appetite with fresh farm-to-table cuisine. It’s all there, and at Church Street Inn, you’re right in the middle of it.
